Heading into Chapter Five: Five years of Paperback Treasures

Wow. It’s kind of wild to realize that in a few short weeks I’ll be heading into five years of Paperback Treasures. I haven’t always been consistent. I haven’t always said exactly what I thought out of caution for feelings. But that’s about to change.
This blog started as a shared project and, over time, it became something more personal. Paperback Treasures now reflects my reading life as it actually exists. The books I’m drawn to. The ones that linger long after I finish them. The ones that make me immediately want to text someone and say, “we need to talk about this.”
Sometimes I have immediate opinions about a book, and sometimes I need to talk my way into understanding how I feel about it. Some books are easy to love. Some are complicated. Some just need to be worked through out loud so I can make sense of them.
Here you’ll find book reviews, reading reflections, and longer posts that go beyond a simple yes or no. This is a space for readers who love books deeply, keep ambitious TBRs, reread favorites without guilt, and understand that reading slumps and reading joy often exist at the same time.
This isn’t a rebrand.
It’s a recalibration.
Same love of books.
More intention.
If you’re new here, I’m really glad you found your way in. If you’ve been here for a while, thank you for sticking around. I’m excited about where Paperback Treasures is headed, and I’m ready to step into this next chapter.
