My Story
Growing up the youngest of five in a blended, busy household, life was always a little chaotic. Books quickly became my escape, my quiet corner in the storm. The first book I remember reading (and still have my original copy of) was Goodnight Moon. From there, I fell in love with Amelia Bedelia, The Boxcar Children, and The Babysitters Club.

By the time I was twelve, I had graduated to the young adult shelves at my local library, spending countless afternoons with the Sweet Valley High twins, Christopher Pike, and R.L. Stine. My mom often found me asleep on the laundry I was supposed to be folding, a book still open in my hands, which honestly still feels pretty on brand.

Books have carried me through every season of life; teaching me, comforting me, and offering endless adventure. Paperback Treasures was started as a shared space to celebrate that love of reading and the community that comes with it. Though it began as a collaboration, it has now grown into my personal corner of the internet. A cozy place to connect with fellow readers who find refuge, magic, and a little bit of themselves within the pages of a good story.
